Our 2010 Group Instruction Program is ongoing. We are offering a series of six lessons to both beginning and intermediate golfers. Tuition for the six lessons is $125 per person and includes range balls. Golf clubs will be provided for those who need them. Class size is limited to 6 students.
You are also welcome to form your own group at any time and plan the instruction to meet your own needs and schedule.
Beginning Golf 101 is for the novice golfer to learn in the company of 4 or 5 other novices in a non-threatening, supportive atmosphere. Six lessions will cover the fundamentals of the full swing with woods and irons, the short game, putting, and pre-shot routine and alignment. The final lesson provides the group with on-course experience as you will play a few holes with the instructor. Golf etiquette, golf course protocol, rules, equipment, shoes, and clothing are also covered.
Our next Session I series starts Tuesday, September 7, at 5:30 p.m. Session II series starts Saturday, July September 11, at 9:00 a.m.
Intermediate Golf 201 is aimed at those who have had some basic instruction and playing experience and at those folks returning to the game after an extended absence. In addition to re-visiting the fundamentals as above, some emphasis will be placed on the swing and styles of each individual. The sixth and final lesson in the series in a mini-playing lesson on the golf course to cover course management, strategy, rules, and etiquette.
The Session I series starts Thursday, September 9, at 5:30 p.m. Session II series starts Friday, September 10, at 9:30 a.m. Session III series starts Saturday, September 11, at 10:30 a.m.
All four of the above group classes will be taught by Mike Jonas, Class A PGA P{rofessional, Teaching Professional Andrea Cordova, PGA Apprentice, and Blaine Bessler, PGA Apprentice Assistant Professional.
